Tuam Spirit Babies - Fragrant Rose

Roses have been venerated for centuries all over the world, they have the highest vibration of any flower.
Rose essential oil vibrates at a rate of 320 megahertz of electrical energy. In comparison, essential oil from lavender (one of the next highest frequency flowers) vibrates at a rate of 118 megahertz, and a healthy human brain usually vibrates between 71 and 90 megahertz.

Just cast your mind back to the last time you saw a perfect rose and smelt it's fragrance. Something happens on a physiological level. All the senses are flooded at once, the mind becomes a bit subdued and immediately there is a feeling of clam. We become heart centred. What a beautiful state to be in, even if it is a fleeting one. Just think of all the religious or sacred practices that use rose oil for anointing purposes, it initiates a very beautiful act of communion and if you do this for yourself, as muslims do before they engage in prayer, the communion begins with you.

Sacred aroma

The therapeutic properties of damask rose oil are antidepressant, antiphlogistic, antiseptic, antispasmodic, antiviral, aphrodisiac, astringent, bactericidal, choleretic, cicatrisant, depurative, emmenagogue, haemostatic, hepatic, laxative, nervous system sedative, stomachic and a tonic for the heart, liver, stomach and uterus.

The practice of anointing with perfumed oil was common among the Hebrews and other nations.
  • It was also the custom of the Jews in like manner to anoint themselves with oil, as a means of refreshing or invigorating their bodies (Deuteronomy 28:40; Ruth 3:3; 2 Sam 14:2; Micah 6:15; Psalms 104:15, Proverbs 27:9; Amos 6:6 etc.). This custom is continued among the Arabians to the present day.
  • Anointing was an act of hospitality (Luke 7:38,46).
  • Splendidly perfumed and expensive; Solomon 4:10; John 12:
- Just considering all aspects of the rose at the moment... I wonder if bodies are anointed with rose oil before burial? ‪#‎Tuamspiritbabies‬
